Who we are
Cauta Solutions Group is a technology company based in Accra, Ghana. We use cookies in accordance with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), under the oversight of the Data Protection Commission, and, where the EU/UK GDPR applies, in line with its consent requirements: no non-essential cookie is set until you enable it. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit it. It lets the website recognise your device and remember your preferences over a period of time. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. First-party cookies are set by this website; third-party cookies are set by other organisations whose services a website uses. Where this policy says "cookies", it also covers similar technologies such as scripts, web beacons and browser local storage.
Cookies used on this website
We keep this site deliberately light. Fonts are served from our own domain, there are no embedded third-party widgets, and the contact form is sent to our own systems. We group cookies into three categories; only essential cookies are set without your consent.
Essential cookies
These cookies are needed for the website to function and to remember your privacy choice. They cannot be switched off in our tools, although you can block them in your browser (see below).
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request logs, such as IP address, browser type and time, to serve the site and keep it secure. That logging does not use cookies.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies would help us understand how visitors use the site by collecting information anonymously, so we can measure and improve it. We do not currently use any analytics tool or set any analytics cookies. The toggle is provided so that, if we ever add one, it will run only for visitors who have enabled this category.
Advertising cookies
Advertising cookies would be used to show you advertisements relevant to your interests, limit how often you see an advertisement, and measure advertising campaigns. They are usually set by advertising networks or social-media platforms. We do not set any advertising cookies and run no advertising or social-media tracking pixels. Any future advertising tag will run only for visitors who have enabled this category.
Managing, refusing or blocking cookies
- Our cookie settings. Use the Manage cookie preferences button above, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, to switch the optional categories on or off. Your choice is saved for six months, after which we ask again. You can change it whenever you like.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies or delete cookies already stored. See the instructions for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge.
- Deleting cookies. If you delete the
cookie_consentcookie, the banner will appear again on your next visit and we will ask for your choice afresh.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]; we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority (in Ghana, the Data Protection Commission).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; where required, we will ask for your consent again.
